This program will extract and automatically launch the 
setup files needed to install and configure the SHAREWARE
version of PKZIP Explorer. By default, the PKZIP Explorer
setup files are extracted to your temporary folder. You may
optionally specify an alternate destination folder. Once
PKZIP Explorer is installed and functioning properly on 
your system, you may delete these setup files to free up 
disk space. If you delete the setup files but later want to
reinstall the product, you will need to re-run this 
installation file setup program.
 
PKZIP Explorer is intended for use on Microsoft Windows 9x,
NT 4.0, and 2000 systems. Windows 95 and NT 4.0 systems 
require Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or greater 
(preferably with Shell Integration) for full utilization of
PKZIP Explorer functionality.
 
It is strongly recommended that you exit all programs 
before proceeding.
 
You may click the Cancel button at any time to exit this
program. 
 
 
*** INSTALLATION ***
 
Click the Next button to view and/or manually specify 
extraction (e.g. destination directory) parameters. When 
you are finished viewing and/or specifying the extraction
parameters, click the Finish button to proceed with the 
installation process via the Windows Installer. Typically,
the Windows Installer will explicitly instruct you to 
reboot your system if and/or when necessary. However, some
Windows systems (e.g. Windows 2000) are optimized to 
minimize reboots and as such will not always instruct you
to reboot your system. This should not affect the 
installation process - it simply forestalls it until after
you reboot your system.
